While Medizin was building their new business website, they needed a strategic SEO partner to ensure that the website was technically sound, had an in-depth approach with content, and provided an off-site optimization strategy for future growth post-launch.

To ensure that the new website launched with a smooth transition from the old one, the V Digital Services organic SEO specialist and web development team worked closely with one another. A “Coming Soon” landing page was utilized to maintain web presence (Tip: something is always better than nothing!) while the organic SEO specialist prepped the following for the new site: site map, robot.txt, meta descriptions, title tags, headers, alt tags for images and internal linking. All assets were established, delivered and implemented prior to launch. (Tip: these are standard best practices for outside optimization on every new website build.)
Once the new website replaced the “Coming Soon” page, the organic SEO specialist manually requested a bot crawl from Google in order to ensure the quickest results within SERPs (Tip: Google will not know that a new website is live unless this is requested). After the new site launched, content creation and backlinking strategy took over to drive results.
Content was created on a monthly basis in the form of blogs while hitting one or more of the following aspects:
• Branded keywords
• Industry specific keywords (marijuana dispensary, cannabis)
• Location based keyword (Nevada, Las Vegas)
While content was created that revolved around highly-searched keywords, backlinks were established across websites with strong PA/DAs. Anchor texts that were used lined up strategically to focus on keywords utilized with onsite content and the blogging strategy.

Prior to the official website launch, the “Coming Soon” page received a total of 165 sessions, averaging 33 sessions per month. By implementing a diverse content strategy, a technically-sound transition to the new site, and off-site strategy, the campaign produced the following:
• Over 900 session established per month (2,800% increase)
• Bounce rate of 31.43% (50% decrease)
• 50% of all users were new users that had never visited the site before
Also, when comparing organic search traffic to all other mediums, organic traffic was the #1 source driving the largest amount of traffic to the site.
